In Memory of Lahina Fire Victims

The below, is an interactive map list of victims who lost their life in Lahaina, Hawaii due to the Lahaina Fires that started on August 8, 2023.

All information was added voluntarily by family or authorized friends and should only be added by direct family members or authorized adult individuals who have direct factual information or knowledge. 

If you know of a loved one who left us due to the horrific fires of Lahaina, Hawaii, you are encouraged to voluntarily click on the pink circle on the upper right corner of the map to add his or her information so that he or she can be known of by the public.

When you click the circle to add a location (incident), you will first need to register free of charge, then you can enter unlimited posts to help others. Once you registered, a map box will appear with the following fields: Fill them in as follows.

1. POST TITLE, should read: Full Name “Nickname” / Age.

2. PING Location Marker on Map:  Should be placed where he/she was found at, to determine if the loss was due to the roadblocks.

3. POST CATEGORY TYPE:  Lahaina Fire Victims

4. ADDRESS BOX: Residence Address.

5. DESCRIPTION BOX: Full Name, Age XX “lost his/her life on (Date of Death) August 8, 2023 due to the horrific fires in Lahaina, Hawaii known as the Lahaina Fires. Describe where was the victim at, what was he or she doing, did someone say that they saw him/her.” If the adult was out in public, mention the time XX:XX P.M. / A.M.so that people with video footage can check to see if there’s actual footage of the incident to help you with any action. If you have any information of his/her location, please contact family at (808) XXX-XXXX.

6. IMAGE: A picture of the victim is required for people to see him/her, and so that other family or friends can recognize the person and report wrongful, fraudulent posts.

Description EXAMPLE:

John Doe “AKA Johnny”, age 70, lost his life at around 6:15 p.m. on August 8, 2023, in Lahaina, Hawaii as he sat inside his car during the gridlock of vehicles near 800 Front St. John Doe, was later found lifeless inside his charred Toyota Corolla together with his beloved dog Sammy. Witnesses say traffic was backed up due to police roadblocks. If you have any video footage of that area at around 6:15 P.M., please review it to see if his car and police units appear in it. Please call family at (808) XXX-XXXX with any information.
